Memory corruption via oversized popupId parameter
Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Stack overflow in H5/hi_block.asp in D-Link DI-7200GV2 E1 21.04.09E1 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via popupId. The request handler processes an oversized attacker-controlled popupId value without effective bounds enforcement, overwriting stack memory. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published record does not establish whether the corruption yields only a crash or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
