Administrator account creation via forged user request
Published Oct 12, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in PHPJabbers Limo Booking Software 1.0 allows remote attackers to create an administrator account. The pjActionCreate action in pjAdminUsers accepts a cross-origin POST containing role_id=1 and new-user fields without requiring a request-specific anti-CSRF value. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML and submit its form, after which the new account has administrative access.
