Credential disclosure via stored report-widget JavaScript
Published Mar 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in the RPE report widget in IBM Engineering Test Management 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to disclose credentials. The widget stores user-supplied JavaScript and renders it in the Web UI without effective neutralization. A user must be able to supply report-widget content; the script then executes in a trusted session and can expose session credentials.
