Unauthenticated database disclosure via unfiltered email parameter
Published Sep 28, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
SQL injection in Asset Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read the database and bypass login via a crafted email value. The login() function in core/functions/user.php sends the index.php email parameter to the database without filtering or validating its characters. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted login request exposes database contents and defeats the application's login control.
