Denial of service in CallKit in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 16.7.3 and 17.0 through 17.1.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Apple states only that improved checks corrected the issue and has not disclosed the failed check, untrusted input, or affected CallKit operation. Network reachability is sufficient without authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is limited to service interruption.
