Arbitrary code execution via WebKit use-after-free
Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Use-after-free in WebKit across Safari and affected Apple platforms allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted web content. Apple identifies a stale object lifetime error but has not published the affected code path or the operation that dereferences the freed object. Exploitation requires a user to process attacker-controlled web content and can run code with the privileges of the WebKit process.
