Administrator-session script execution via reflected invalid nonce
Published Sep 4, 2023 · Updated Mar 6, 2025
Reflected XSS in Agile Logix Post Timeline before 2.2.6 allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator’s browser. The ptl_ajax_handler AJAX action returns the asl-nounce value from an invalid nonce without sanitizing or escaping it. An administrator must open a crafted URL, after which the injected script runs with that user’s web-session privileges.
