Server-side request forgery in Galaxy before 22.05 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP responses through data imports. The import URL blocklist checks only the initially parsed host, while Python urllib follows redirects to blocked private or link-local addresses. A logged-in user can supply a redirecting import URL, causing the application server to contact internal services and return their HTTP responses.
