CVE-2023-4280

Trusted-memory access via unvalidated TrustZone input

Published Jan 2, 2024 · Updated Jun 13, 2025

Improper input validation in Silicon Labs Gecko SDK 1.0 through 4.3.x allows local users to access trusted memory from untrusted code. Silicon Labs has not identified the affected TrustZone interface or disclosed which input validation is missing; its documentation states that secure-world wrappers must validate arguments received from non-secure code. This requires attacker-controlled code in the device's non-secure execution environment and permits disclosure or modification of trusted data and interruption of device execution.
