Untrusted pointer dereference in Intel Xeon D processor UEFI firmware allows local users to escalate privileges via local access. Intel has not published the affected UEFI routine or how attacker-controlled pointer data reaches the dereference. Exploitation requires existing high privileges and an additional execution condition, and successful exploitation crosses a security boundary.
