Authorization bypass in F5 BIG-IP allows remote authenticated users to retain administrator access to iControl REST resources. The role-reversion path fails to revoke iControl REST administrative authorization previously granted through a PUT request. Exploitation requires an existing non-admin account to receive and then lose an administrator role, after which the account retains administrative resource access.
