Stored XSS via unescaped button-size setting
Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in THRIVE Photospace Responsive Gallery 2.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject web scripts. The plugin saves the psres_button_size parameter without sufficient input sanitization and later emits it without adequate output escaping. Exploitation requires Administrator access and either WordPress multisite or an installation with unfiltered_html disabled; a page visit executes the stored script.
