Local information disclosure via unchecked record writes
Published Dec 4, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Information disclosure in UNISOC imsservice on affected Android chipsets allows local users to expose app permission-usage records. The service writes an application's permission-usage records without checking the caller's permission, crossing the intended authorization boundary. A local process needs no additional execution privileges; the published impact is limited to reading sensitive information, without integrity or availability effects.
