AD DC disruption via competing RPC listeners

Denial of service in Samba allows remote authenticated users to disrupt Active Directory domain controller RPC service over the network. Under load or unresponsiveness, samba-dcerpcd fails to suppress non-AD-DC RPC services, starts incompatible listeners, and competes for the AD DC's Unix domain sockets. A low-privileged authenticated client can trigger mixed partial RPC responses that prevent reliable AD DC queries without affecting confidentiality or integrity.
