Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Dec-2023 Release 1 allows local users to read the device SIM PIN. KnoxCustomManagerService permits access to the SIM PIN without enforcing proper access control on the caller; Samsung has not disclosed the affected method or request path. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the device SIM PIN.
