Arbitrary file access via implicit intent hijacking
Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
Use of implicit intents in Samsung Account before 14.5.00.7 allows attackers to access arbitrary files with Samsung Account privileges. startNameValidationActivity sends sensitive communication through an implicit Android intent, allowing another app to receive or hijack the request instead of addressing the intended component explicitly.
