Stored XSS via unescaped FAQ welcome text
Published Sep 4, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Stored XSS in QuantumCloud WPBot before 4.7.8 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute script in visitors' browsers. The FAQ language setting saves the Welcome to FAQ Section value without sanitizing or escaping it, then renders the value on the public FAQ frontend. An administrator must store the payload, and a visitor must open the FAQ; multisite remains exposed when unfiltered_html is disabled.
