Out-of-bounds access in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Nov-2023 Release 1 allows local users to read and corrupt memory. The saped_dec routine in libsaped improperly validates decoder input before accessing a buffer, permitting reads and writes beyond its bounds. Local access is required; Samsung reports memory disclosure and corruption but does not report code execution or a specific crash outcome.
