Stored XSS via unsanitized FAQ content
Published Sep 4, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Stored XSS in QuantumCloud WPBot before 4.7.8 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute script via FAQ content. The FAQ Builder stores FAQ query and answer values without sanitizing or escaping them, then renders those values in public bot-chat responses. Administrator access is required to save the payload, and execution requires a visitor to enter the matching FAQ in a chatbot session.
