CVE-2023-4252Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unpaid bookings via client-controlled price

Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Nov 21, 2024

Improper price validation in EventPrime 3.2.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create paid-event bookings without payment. The ep_save_event_booking AJAX action trusts ep_event_booking_total_price from the request instead of calculating the charge server-side. The published proof of concept requires a logged-in booking flow and valid nonce, and setting the total to zero creates a booking without completing payment.
