Unauthenticated node crash via unbounded Snappy decompression

Resource exhaustion in Mysten Labs Sui before 1.6.3 allows remote attackers to crash validator and full nodes through P2P RPC messages. The anemo codec in crates/mysten-network/src/codec.rs reads each Snappy-compressed message fully into an unbounded buffer before BCS deserialization. Unauthenticated peers can send concurrent high-ratio messages to exhaust memory and terminate an individual node; published technical analysis does not substantiate arbitrary code execution.
