Authenticated code execution via unrestricted expense attachments
Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Fl3xx Dispatch and Crew 2.10.37 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through expense attachments. The New Expense component’s add attachment function accepts executable file types without restricting dangerous uploads, allowing attacker-supplied content to reach an execution path. Access to an application account is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code where the uploaded attachment is processed.
