Unauthenticated HTTP service crash via unchecked MAC length
Published Sep 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda AC10 V4 US_AC10V4.0si_V16.03.10.13_cn_TDC01 allows remote attackers to crash the HTTP service. GetParentControlInfo passes the user-controlled mac parameter to a stack buffer without checking its length, and a long POST value triggers a segmentation fault. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation interrupts access to the router's HTTP management service.
