Script execution via unsanitized subject fields
Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Code-Projects Exam Form Submission 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through subject fields. The subject update workflow stores Subject Name and Subject Code values without neutralizing script markup, then renders the saved values in a browser. Access to the administrative subject editor is required, and the injected script executes when the stored subject data is rendered.
