Improper access control in Moxa ioLogik 4000 Series firmware 1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized access. An unauthorized network service accepts connections without adequate access control, but Moxa does not disclose its protocol, port, or exposed functions. No privileges or user interaction are required; the confirmed consequence is unauthorized access and indirect disclosure, not service interruption.
