Unauthenticated scan disclosure via unprotected web routes
Published Sep 21, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Improper access control in OpenSecurity Mobile Security Framework 3.7.8 Beta and earlier allows remote attackers to read scan data. The web interface serves /recent_scans/ and linked reports without requiring a login, exposing report details and uploaded APK or IPA files. Exposure requires reachability from an untrusted network; the vendor disputes the issue because MobSF was not designed for that deployment.
