Unauthenticated file disclosure via path traversal
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 23, 2025
Path traversal in Pat Infinite Solutions HelpdeskAdvanced 11.0.33 and earlier allows remote attackers to read files through DownloadTempFile. The Attachment/DownloadTempFile function resolves an attacker-controlled attachment path without confining access to the temporary-file directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to file confidentiality; the public record does not identify the parameter or files exposed.
