Message deletion via cross-site form submission
Published Oct 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 10, 2024
CSRF in IceCMS 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to delete square messages by inducing an administrator to submit a crafted request. The /square/DelectSquareById/{id} endpoint processes a state-changing form request from an external page and uses the path ID to select the message for deletion. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open the attack page and submit its form, after which the selected square message is deleted.
