File read and deletion via path traversal
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Path traversal in Thunder ADC ACOS FileMgmtExport allows remote authenticated users to read or delete arbitrary files. FileMgmtExport uses a user-supplied path in file operations without restricting it to an intended directory, and directory reads are returned as TAR archives. Exploitation requires authentication and management-interface access; deletion of critical vThunder files causes loss of service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
