OS command injection in Magnet Forensics AXIOM 7.4.0.36841 allows attackers to execute code during acquisition of a malicious Android device. The Android device image acquisition function passes an insufficiently validated device-supplied string into a system call, allowing command syntax to alter the invoked operation. Exploitation requires an examiner to acquire data from the malicious device, and injected commands run with the current user's privileges.
