CVE-2023-41970

Local code execution via flawed Repair App validation

Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Improper integrity-check validation in Zscaler Client Connector for Windows before 4.1.0.62 allows local users to execute code. The Repair App functionality fails to validate an integrity-check value correctly, but Zscaler has not disclosed the checked artifact or exact error. Exploitation requires local access, high privileges, and high-complexity conditions; execution can read or alter data and interrupt service.
