Apple StorageKit in affected iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and macOS releases allows local users to read arbitrary files. StorageKit follows insufficiently validated symbolic links when accessing files, allowing an app-directed path to escape its intended file location. Execution of a malicious app by a local user is required, and the consequence is unauthorized file disclosure without reported file modification.
