Browser script execution via crafted payment setup page
Published Sep 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Welcart e-Commerce 2.7 through 2.8.21 allows remote attackers to inject script into the Credit Card Payment Setup page. The vendor and JVN identify the affected administrative page but do not disclose the input parameter or missing output-neutralization operation. Remote attackers need no account but must induce a logged-in user to access a specially crafted page, after which attacker-supplied script executes in that user's browser.
