Stored XSS in Cockpit HQ Cockpit CMS before 2.6.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via an uploaded HTML asset. The Assets module accepts .htm and .html extensions, stores the file, and serves its active content without neutralizing embedded script. Any role allowed to use the assets function can plant the file; execution occurs when the uploaded asset is opened in a browser.
