CVE-2023-41946Network attack vector

Test metadata disclosure via CSRF-enabled endpoints

Published Sep 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Jenkins Frugal Testing Plugin 1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access test metadata. Several HTTP endpoints accept state-changing GET requests without requiring POST, allowing a crafted cross-site request to connect with attacker-specified credentials and query test IDs and names. Overall/Read permission, victim interaction, and valid Frugal Testing credentials for the supplied username are required; reported impact is limited to the connection and metadata disclosure.
