HTML injection via unescaped queue name
Published Sep 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
HTML injection in Jenkins AWS CodeCommit Trigger Plugin 3.0.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject markup through a queue name. The form-validation error renderer places the queue name parameter into its response without escaping attacker-controlled HTML. A user must view the resulting validation error; Jenkins core hardening prevents script execution, limiting the published behavior to HTML injection.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
