CVE-2023-41926Network attack vector

Credential interception via unencrypted HTTP Basic authentication

Published Jul 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Insufficient credential protection in Kiloview P1/P2 firmware through 4.8.2605 allows attackers to intercept credentials over HTTP. The configuration webserver uses HTTP Basic authentication on unencrypted port 80, exposing the Authorization header to network observers. A user must log in over HTTP while an attacker can observe the traffic; captured credentials grant access to the management interface.
