Out-of-bounds read in lldpd before 1.0.17 allows remote attackers to read beyond heap memory via crafted CDP address TLVs. In cdp_decode, each parsed address length is discarded without reducing addresses_len, causing later bounds checks to overstate the remaining data. The attack requires delivery of a CDP PDU to an interface processing CDP traffic; published sources do not specify the resulting disclosure or service effect.
