SQL injection via unvalidated list sort keys
Published Oct 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
SQL injection in FlyteAdmin before 1.1.124 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through crafted list requests. NewSortParameter interpolates an unvalidated sort key into a GORM ORDER expression, while related list paths pass attacker-controlled fields into database clauses. Reachability requires access to the FlyteAdmin REST service, typically through a VPN or authentication; the CNA assessment limits the reported consequence to data disclosure.
