Reflected XSS via unescaped popup parameter
Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Ram Ratan Maurya's StagTools 2.3.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts via the popup parameter. StagTools reflects the parameter into a generated page without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, making attacker-controlled markup executable browser content. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link; the script then runs in the site origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data and disrupt page behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
