Published Dec 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Weak authentication in Guido VS Contact Form 14.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass the sum CAPTCHA on contact-form requests. Patchstack and the upstream plugin materials do not disclose the flawed validation operation or identify which request value defeats the sum check. No account or user interaction is required; the published record assigns limited confidentiality impact without identifying what information becomes exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
