Stored script execution via unescaped style settings
Published Oct 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in WEN Solutions Notice Bar 3.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through style settings. Several notice-bar style settings accept content that is stored and later rendered without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to plant a payload, and the script runs in a visitor's browser when an affected page is viewed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
