CVE-2023-41814Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized notification messages

Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored XSS in Pandora FMS 700 through 774 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a recipient's browser through notifications. The notification system stores an HTML payload containing an iframe tag and renders it without sufficient neutralization when the recipient opens the message. A low-privileged sender must create a malicious message and a recipient must open its notification; execution is limited to the recipient's web session.
