Authenticated configuration-file disclosure via get_file.php path traversal
Published Nov 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Path traversal in Pandora FMS 700 through 773 allows remote authenticated users to read the server configuration file via get_file.php. The script base64-decodes a supplied file path and serves it without confining traversal to permitted repositories when a matching hash is supplied. Exploitation requires a valid session and the server_unique_identifier secret; reading config.inc.php exposes database access material and enables database compromise.
