Authenticated code execution via MIB uploader
Published Nov 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Pandora FMS 700 through 773 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the SNMP MIB uploader. The uploader accepts PHP instead of restricting submissions to MIB or ZIP content, then stores the file in a web-accessible attachment directory. Administrative console access is required; requesting the uploaded PHP runs attacker-controlled code and can compromise the server and its managed accounts and agents.
