Subscriber email disclosure via missing capability check
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Email posts to subscribers 6.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to export subscriber email addresses. The elp_plugin_parse_request() handler omits a WordPress capability check before dispatching additional functions, including the subscriber export path. No account or user interaction is required; a network request can disclose the stored email address list, without reported integrity or availability impact.
