CVE-2023-41727Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via crafted server packets

Published Dec 19, 2023 · Updated May 6, 2025

Out-of-bounds write in the Mobile Device Server in Ivanti Avalanche before 6.4.2 allows remote attackers to execute code or crash the service. The server writes beyond an intended memory buffer while processing specially crafted network data packets; Ivanti has not disclosed the affected parser or packet field. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation can corrupt memory, execute code in the server context, or interrupt device-management service.
