Improper privilege management in the SonicWall SonicOS SSL VPN tunnel allows remote authenticated users to elevate tunnel privileges. SonicWall has not disclosed the code locus or the incorrect operation that permits the privilege transition. An established SSL VPN session is required, and the reported consequence is access to otherwise restricted resources inside that tunnel.
