Authenticated firewall crash via stack buffer overflow

Stack-based buffer overflow in SonicWall SonicOS releases allows remote authenticated users to crash the firewall through management requests. The sonicwall.exp and prefs.exp handlers accept input that exceeds a stack buffer; SonicWall has not disclosed the affected parameter or copy routine. Access to an affected management or SSLVPN module and valid credentials is required, and exploitation interrupts the firewall without reported data exposure or modification.
