Script execution via unsanitized upsell shop URL
Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Stored XSS in the OX App Suite frontend 7.10.6-rev34 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The upsell portal widget stores a user-defined shop URL and inserts it into the DOM without correctly sanitizing embedded script code. A low-privileged account must save the payload and lure a victim to that account; execution occurs under the trusted application origin.
